God is Crazy about You! July 24, 2023

Imagine that you’re looking at a brilliant night sky and you decide that you’re going to give names to some of your favorite stars. It’s a fun activity for a while, but before long you run out of names because there are so many stars, and you know there are billions more than you can even see from where you are.

Imagine that God, who created those stars, knows them by name and helps them to shine even more brilliantly. That is the God who knows your name. That is the One who created you and loves you beyond measure. You are His star in so many ways and He can’t get enough of being near you. He never forgets about you and never leaves you alone.

Today, remind yourself that God has called you by name and that He sees you right where you are. He lovingly thinks of you and applauds your efforts to become even more cherished. He will always see you as unique and incredibly brilliant. Give Him thanks and praise!

Let us pray: Lord, thank You for making us the person we are and for seeing me as brilliant and strong. Help us to live up to the name You have given us. Father God, hear our prayers of intentions from today, from our prayer wall and for any unmentioned prayers in our hearts.. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
