The Absolute Joy of Easter April 14, 2022

“God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died. It was God saying to the world, “I love you.” —Billy Graham

However you celebrate Easter, perhaps with flowers and brightly colored jelly beans, or with big family dinners and new shoes, you also celebrate the absolute gift of Easter. God’s gift to us! God not only sent Jesus in to the world as a tiny baby, fragile and needing the love of a human mother, but He kept His promise through His only Son, our Savior. He redeemed us and gave us a way to come back home when our earthly work is done.

The absolute, remarkable, beautiful joy of Easter is that we know our relationship with God is eternal. We are His sons and daughters forever and nothing can change that. It’s spring in our hearts from now on and love will always bloom.

Celebrate Easter all year through and let love prevail in your heart forever!

Let us pray: Lord, we praise You with all our hearts, our minds and our souls as we celebrate Your amazing gift of eternal life. Father God, hear our prayers of intentions today, from our prayer wall and for any unmentioned prayers that we have in our hearts. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
