Growing and Becoming More May 8, 2023

When you were a little girl, you probably dreamed about what you would be when you grew up. You may have tried to imagine what it would be like to be an actor, or a world traveler, or even a mom. You’ve been growing and becoming someone special every day since you were born.

You’re not only special to your family, you’re special to God. He looks forward to seeing you evolve into the person He already knows you can be. He applauds your efforts and encourages you to try again when you fail. He knows that you can stretch yourself further, bend a little more, reach a little higher, all without breaking, and all for a good reason, to get to be a little more like Him.

As you get older, you have opportunities for your heart to become tender and more authentic. You care for others and love them, growing sweeter and kinder in the process. God has entered each area of your life to bring His beautiful Spirit of peace. May you continue to grow in him always.

Let us pray: Lord, help us to grow to be more like You so that we warmly and lovingly reflect Your image to everyone around us. Father God, hear our prayers of intentions from today, from our prayer wall and for any unmentioned prayers in our hearts.. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
